How do I add a new account?

To add an asset account:

  1. Choose Accounts menu > Initial/Supplemental Inventory.

  2. In the Account Category selection box, choose an appropriate category.

  3. In the Asset Accounts selection box, choose Create New Account.

  4. Complete the remaining fields as required.

  5. Click Done.

To add a non-asset account:

  1. Choose Accounts menu > Account Editor.

  2. In the Account Category selection box, choose a non-asset account category.

  3. In the System Accounts and Assets selection box, choose Create New Account.

  4. Complete the remaining fields as required.

  5. Click Done.
