Provides a place for you to enter the data required when a security transaction is being recorded.

A list of the separate acquisitions of this asset that have already occurred is provided. You have a choice of (1) accept the default, (2) select an individual acquisition, (3) select all remaining acquisitions, or (4) type the appropriate data in the Number of Units and Unit Cost fields

The following data members are available:

Cost Method (sale or other disposition only)

Provides a place for you to designate a cost method for a sale or transfer. Combining Actual Cost Method with a selection from the list of acquisitions displays the actual unit cost. Selecting Average Cost Method displays the average unit cost.

Number of Units

Provides a place for you to specify the number of units for this transaction. Make a selection from the list or type the number of units.

Unit Cost

Provides a place for you to specify a unit cost for this transaction. Make a selection from the list or type the unit cost.
